I saw what you typed and understood it.Thats just how I worded my question...still, a number of hours elapsed before whatever was wrong took effect and put down your zul.

Dude im sorry for your loss but take this as a lesson learned and take control of your fishes life and start taking care of your own tank instead of putting it in the hands of someone at a LFS. You see your fish every day so you know when something isnt right. This guy came over and service the tank and after he did look what happenned. Its not that hard to care for your own tank. And if you have trouble ask there are a ton of people on this site that can help you out. You payed a price>>THE AZUL<< Dont let this happen to any other of your favorite fish. Take control....That guy at the LFS is going to just come over look at the filter/test the water and thats all he can really do.

I agree... the best way you can prevent this in the future is by handling your tank yourself..and knowing how to cure your fish is only going to help them. Knowing your own tank inside and out is your best weapon.

Sorry for your loss but that's why you should take care of your fish yourself. I wouldn't let anyone touch my tanks in a million years. I value my fish too much to leave them in someone else's hands.

Sorry man I'm just kidding. Were just very different. I actually enjoy the work involved in fish keeping. I even do my girlfriends tanks occasionally.
