So I was rearranging my rocks today and I accidentally squished my 3" BGK :( I got the rock off if her immediately and right away she wasn't swimming normally. I took a closer look and she seems to have an open wound on her side just below her belly. She is now swimming normally, seemingly over the shock of the incident.
I have taken her out of the main tank into a 10g quarantine, brought the heat up to 85-86 and started dosing with melafix. Is there anything else I can do for her or do I just have to keep dosing and hope for the best?

lights of good call. 86 might be a bit much- I like 80-82, but it'll be fine. git it a small lizard log that it can hide under- I've upgraded the size of mine as my BGK grows. :D

I wouldn't raise temperature that high unless treating ich and such, but not in a situation like this where it's an injury/wound...just keep it isolated and watch for fungus and other infections

Update! I lowered the temp to the usual 82 and have been keeping the lights off. She seems to be doing alright right now. She is eating blood worms and swimming normally.
