Sorry for your loss:( It just started to get cold here now, so I just plugged my heaters back in last week. I forgot one of them was faulty, but I was lucky that I caught it in time before I had some Bouillabaisse.
 
I was so upset that I had an unique group of blind cave tetras since they have small eyes. I love watch them goes in feeding frenzy every time I fed them.
 
Sorry for your loss...those are my all time favorite fw fish..had a lone specimen that outlived the others and lived 6+ years, which I assume is a lot for smaller fish. Always kept them unheated but don't have too much in way of cold weather here
