Safe Dechlorination

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if its just chlorine you can use a carbon filter (like the ones for whole house drinking filtration) and it will remove chlorine as well...but not chloramine.

My water is all well, I'm driving and hauling city and R/O right now until the glacier water settles a little. I really appreciate you all pointing out chloramine, I haven't heard of it around here, and I've called about 4 different city planners.

Gu Ka'an says thanks to all. In all honesty, the best water is from West of the mountains so lst time I went to Seattle I took water drums. I'm going to buy an R/O machine and the mixing types of water is pleasing gu K" greatly.

Thanks again

I just use "Prime" for water changes in all my tanks. (about 300 gals. a week total water exchange) Works great, and you never have to worry about it. For 30 bucks I can get a 2 liter bottle of stuff that lasts a long, long time.

Like I said earlier "It's Cheap", why bother with all the work and take chances.
