ok ive used the search on a safe way to coat a skull to put in an aquarium and have got many different answers. can i just spray this thing with clear rattle can paint and let it cure, and for how long? im not rich so cheaper would be better if possible. i went to lowes and the guy said that nothing would work to do this- which i know is b.s. oh and it MUST be a clear coating please help. remember CHEAP please!

also ive checked out the deer antler thread and i get nothing from it. i understand i need epoxy but what brand. ive read about krylon fusion but will this work for me? brand names and maybe pix of what im looking for would be greatly appreciated!

NSF 61/USDA/ANSI/AWWA and FDA certified and
approved. Further, epoxy coatings are highly resistant to
salts and corrosion and are recommended for marine
useSome brand name coatings that can be used
are:carbolene brand "891" epoxy with color choices one of which is "4753"grey
epoxies contain no solvents or volatile organic compounds and are usually composed of 100% solids
dupont brand "epoxide hs tank lining"
sherwin williams brand "tank clad hs epoxy"
rustoleum brand "9200" system epoxy with color choices one of which is "9271" dunes tan

lol trial and error is my way of life... But sometimes it's not the best way. I would be worried about what the taxerdermist put on it. Maybe you could test it out in a tub of water for a few days, if you have an extra tank/tub. Not sure what it would prove though lol.
