C Chicxulub was recently absent from the forum for a while, and unable to perform his forum duties. Whilst he was away we had an alarming number of bot insurgents posting drivel on the forum, and basically getting on everyone's nerves.

I single handedly outed a number of said bots, I believe by the time I had finished my exhausting work i had slain many many hundreds of them, some say it was thousands, but hey, you won't catch me blowing my own trumpet! I was awarded a new title in respect of the stellar work I had performed.

Then jjohnwm found a bot, just one mind, and even got pally with it, messaging it and planning holidays together and such. I didn't want him feeling left out, and even felt sorry for him when chicx eventually zapped his new cyber mate, so i asked chicx to give him a title too. That's the type of selfless guy I am.

And that is the whole truth....honest!

I was forced to select the "sad" emoji to react to this ^ post; I couldn't find the "is this guy totally freaking nuts?" one in the limited selection available for that purpose.

But, I suppose that sadness is an appropriate reaction when you watch someone slide so far off the rails that there is no hope of return or recovery. So I will just carry on with my selfless toil, hunting down and eliminating the digital menace whenever and wherever it appears...tirelessly, relentlessly...always hidden in the shadows, but ready to leap into action at the first sign of danger. I'll leave Esox to prance about in the spotlight, prattling on and on about the calamity that was so narrowly averted, as though he played some small part in my heroic triumph. So much talking...so little doing...

But he has his part to play, however small it may be, in the struggle between darkness and light. He's the Commissioner Gordon to my Batman; the Samwise to my Frodo; the weird little singing guy to my Witcher; the...well, you get the idea.
