The tank is 7'x2'x2' and will have a tiger shovelnose, silver arowana, florida gar, clown knifefish, pleco, and a fire eel. Could I keep a South American Lungfish in this tank for life without worrying about it killing anything?

And I do have plans for the silver arowana, tsn, and ck for when they outgrow this tank so no worries about that.

It would be fine in there for life. The main thing is ensuring that it can stretch out to its full length, be able to turn around with relative ease, and be able to reach the surface without much effort. Of course, larger is better, but you could keep it in there without any problems as far as aggression goes as long as the tankmates were of appropriate size.

Given that lungfish hardly move, they only need enough room to stretch out.
