Her tank is 40gl., 36" x 18" x 17", And I would love to get 2 or 3 bumblebee gobies but I haven't seen them anywhere. Not at the chain stores or the smaller privately owned 'nook' stores within 40 min. drive from my place. I have not tried to order live fish through the mail yet, I suppose I could give that a try. Is there a good/reputable place to order bumblebee gobies by mail, or is that not possible? Thanks for everyones advice and input, really appreciate it.
ME :" Already tried Mollies, they wouldn't let her eat!" PUFFERPUNK : "Her, meaning the goby, not your daughter?" Very extremely funny! It's been so crazy in my house lately, guess I wasn't paying attention! I'll have to look at what I'm saying more carefully from now on! * So, can some one please answer my last question there? I know we can get 'fish-in-the-mail'. Just wondering how safe it would be for the fish? And what would be a good place to order them from too?
also, what's up with the fish species/names that are put under our pics? Just wondering about it. Some ppls stay the same, others occassionally change, and I've noticed the one under mine keeps changing. What's up with that?
So fishtex, you don't know, for sure, if that's the way it goes? Because I highly disagree. Just as they differ when ppl first join, the 'tags' don't all start the same either. Know what I mean?
I've never ordered fish by mail, but I know it's possible, and highly successful if you order from someone who has good stock and knows what they are doing. Request they only send it out on a Monday or Tuesday to prevent any over the weekend delays.
The name/fish changes as your post count goes up. There are more changes with smaller post counts. I think there is an explanation here on the site somewhere.
