Then basically only 2 questions remain for me:

(I use National Fish Pharmaceuticals products)

1. Should I give a half dose of each, of full doses of both?

2. What is the difference between dosing?
The bottle recommends dosing every 24 hours with a 25% water change beforehand.

The thread recommends:
Day 1 -- remove carbon, perform water change with vacuuming, and add Prazi to tank
Day 2 -- add Prazi
Day 3 -- do nothing
Day 4 -- do nothing
Day 5 -- do nothing
Day 6 -- add Prazi
Day 7 -- add Prazi
Day 8 -- normal partial water change with vacuuming
Day 14 - normal partial water change, then add prazi
Day 21 - normal partial water change, then add prazi
Day 28 - normal partial water change, then add prazi
Day 35 - normal partial water change, add carbon, treatment is complete

With no recommendations for dosing metro.

is there an LFS (or other store) nearby where you can buy either Jungle Parasite Clear or API General Cure?

as note above, these include both praziquantel and metronidazole, and will give you proper instructions on how to treat.

just to be clear, I would use either Jungle Parasite Clear or API General Cure, but not both. personally, I prefer the Jungle product . . .

I'm sure they do. I believe i've seen it on the shelf.

However, I already have prazi here, so it'd be easier to just buy some additional metro. Money getting slim and all.

Alrighty, I'm headed out to the fish store in the next couple hours.

I will price the jungle prazi/metro mix to just a bottle of the metro.

Any further opinions on how to mix these meds?

Bob is correct. Do full dose on both meds. The dosing routine I gave you is more thorough and a surefire way to eliminate all flukes and intestinal worms given the fact the use is prolonged since some parasites are able to resist it by encasing themselves in cysts or embedding further to avoid contact of the potent meds.

For meds that are compatible with each other, a full dose will work safely without risk of going fatal. Some meds just cannot be mixed due to possible chemical reactions they may cause that can harm the fish. A lot of anthelmintics can be combined without any issues.

Thanks.
I was unable to pickup metro today, as I was thinking of my old LFS having the product, which is 12 hours away.

I was surprised to see petsmart did not have any metro products either.

I was originally concerned about medication poisoning, with having approximately 10 gallons worth of meds in a 5 gallon enclosure.
