oh dam. wow didnt know that.. Thanks for the info.

in that case, cichlids are still cooler.. What about the Trigger? Are they as fierce as any cichlids? Those guys can crush

Triggers can be aggressive. Yes they have a very nasty bite. I believe they are territorial. There are many different sp. there are around 40 sp. Do not dive when they are breeding. You will get attacked.

Triggers are freaking nightmares.
I had a niger, clown, and a huma huma before, all where mean, aggressive, and seriously hated any shark or ray i put in the tank. It was a 220 gallon salt water, and they where good with everybody else, but anything predatory, aside from the Lions and puffers we had in there, would be dead. Triggers are just mean, and when they bite, it does some serious damage.

Salt water fish, tend to be less territorial than fresh water, imo, but I think that has to do with the vast amount of ocean compared to fresh water. But salt water fish, have far larger sizes, faster speeds, and more weapons than fresh. Although there are plenty of big bad fresh water fish, but all would be fish food for a big ole blue fin tuna, grouper, marlin, sailfish etc. Not including sharks, or whales, of course.

Do they fight and breed like cichlids?

the triggers and salt water wolve
