Seriously though, reading your posts I would guess you're a foreigner or drank too much tonite...it's ok no prob.

88 degrees is a bit too high. 80-82 is better imo. You're also going to need more filtration. Salt is optional, some swear by it...some say it's useless in a freshwater tank. You've already added it so that's fine. I usually add about 1/2 the recommended dosage and never had a problem. Good luck with the new tank.

Sorry, this is just too funny to skip!:ROFL::ROFL:

Howdy,

It helps the forum to stay on topic. It also helps to know what the topic is. This is an international forum across all ages and social layers, and language skill vary greatly. However, the love for our hobby unites us. Please keep that in mind before you attack someone. Humor, irony, or sarcasm are not easy to get across in writing, so if you feel like pulling someone's leg, please use our smilies to put it into perspective. On a more aggressive scale: we do not tolerate profanity.

piranhagrowing_guy, please be as specific with your questions as you can. Why do you want to add salt and raise the temperature? Is your fish sick? Please let me know by PM and I will move your thread to the Fish Health & Disease Forum for you.

All: Play nice and be constructive. Don't make me come back :mr-t:

;)
