Now I haven’t done too much research on this but I know that saltwater fish parasites can’t be transferred to freshwater fish and vice versa. So would feeding saltwater feeder fish to freshwater fish be bad for them. Say you had a tank of small saltwater feeders to feed your fish, would this be a viable option? Just a question as I know that feeder fish can get some great growth on slow growing fish like datnoids and you get to see there predatory instincts.

Saltwater fish are ok, you can raise/keep the following in full saltwater:
Mosquitofish
Endlers
Plains or gulf killifish
All mollies
Alewife
Red jewel cichlids
Certain tilapia

So would that eliminate the worry of parasites in feeders
.

If fish were raised in full Saltwater the external parasites would die but internal may survive until they are exposed to Freshwater. I would take it a bit further and treat feeders prior.

What would you treat them with

If you dose enough to kill it instantly, you don't have to worry about superbugs.
Overuse of meds leads to strains that are resistant to bacteria, that's why you should only use these meds when absolutely necessary, not as a precautionary measure, this is why some medications get less effective with time
