  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
haha, I hear ya. I was kinda keeping track as I was buying stuff so it didn't hit me too hard. I can't imagine paying retail for everything....that total might have been tripled or quadrupled. 4-5 grand for a 55 gallon! :WHOA: And thats just to get up and running. IMO totally worth it if you can afford it though.

buying goodies adds up my bill last year was over 12 grand on fish supplies alone.

lol

You bought quite a bit more than me!!!

They are cool but I actually have mine as just a power head mover
I modded two K-4's with the plumbing fitting and ran the power cord though were the water would usually go though.
Now I have two K-4's rotating 90 degrees on either end of my tank. :)

fo sho, brutha I love the idea of not having to run 150-200 watts of pump power for 2400GPH of flow to two of these things...
And no more plumbing, or wires in the tank..
The only thing is you have to cut the plug part of the K-4 off and heat shrink butt splice it back together after running it through.
Make sure you leave about 6"-12" of cord to strip and attach back together.
