DAAANG.....
so the bass just nipped at them.
so i cut one up for the bichir and hoplo cats.
the cats were eating and all of a sudden,my arowana came down and gulped it right up!!!!!
dropped some more chunks in,he went right down and ate it!!!!!!
this is his first time eating something not alive.and i didnt even have to train him!!!!

The shrimp are most likely Gulf shrimp. They were 1.75ea? Decent but hope they were big...
Best way to TRY and keep them alive is to have an ice chest with an airation system, either air stone or waterpump into a pvc with holes (like a filter pipe). They dont last long in fresh, so dont dip them. If they were a nice size, def nip the point maybe even pluck the whiskers.

You should have just gotten a big chunk of squid from the bait shop, very cheap but fish love it.
