Where can I find some quality information on saltwater stingrays? I'm looking to set up a 150g for a ray and I can't find much info on them.

from my experience they are more difficult to care for than the FW ones but the Cortez usually take to frozen squid within a day or two.

Actually i am planning on setting my tank up for a pair of either Yellows or California Ray (round ray) and on another forum i have been conversing with a guy that has 2 of them and says they are very easy to care for and have become great family entertainment. The rays like to interact with people and they mostly hand feed them and he has them in with a number of fish (not agressive) and do very well infact. I think the fresh water rays take much more care because of the larger and more frequent water changes and i have read the water temps should be higher. Anyway my choice would be definantly be saltwater rays.

where a 150 is fine for a FW ray, you should have MUCH bigger for a saltwater ray, even one that is the same size as a FW ray, they need much more space and are harder to care for.

i dont know of a single FW ray that would live in a 150 for life comfortably
