Alot of fish live in the estuarys around here. The fish go from freshwater to saltwater. My question is, if i was to say acclimate a snook, red fish, snapper or any other estuary fish. Could it survive in full freshwater its whole life? would there be any side affects? Is there any long term damage?

I have the same question. there might be only one way to find out lol. I know mangroves snappers can be acclimated. Do you know what time of year snook spawn?
like i said in the this dudes other post snook is your best bet, leave most the others alone in saltwater.
