Well considering that this is the fishing forum, I'll talk about fishing and not aquariums. For challenge and overall skill required, I will say salt. I feel that salt fishing is also much more rewarding than fresh. Nothing beats pulling in a big mahi, and then having steaks that night. However, fresh fishing can also be just as good. I guess it really depends on your location. Since I'm on the coast of course I would rather go cast off the beach than go to the local pond and catch largemouth, but if you were landlocked it would be nice to go fish trout or on the great lakes go for steelhead.

seawater is cool and beautiful but experience.
no many work to water change.

This is fishing not aquariums.

I would have to say they are both as equal, depends on where you live. Location, Location, Location. lol, but on another note I would say I prefer freshwater fishing, because of the scenery when you are up in the mountains fishing a creek. It will all just factor on preference and location. Eating wise, I would have to say salt water fishing, since you can't beat a well cooked lobster, or king crab.

My first love is and always will be salt. I like inshore fishing and my favorite is surf fishing for Striped Bass. I do freshwater too and like LMB when I go. If it comes down to it I enjoy fishing for anything but salt is my favorite, I think the biggest thrill I ever had was wading the flats with a fly rod for Stripers on the bay side of Sandy Hook, NJ they weren't big about 8 lbs but a lot of fun.

I am a fresh water kid. My favorite exsperience fishing in my hole life was going to lake ontario when i was a teenager with my dad. And ketching huge salmon all day long. And i caught a large steel head that ketch jumping out of the water shacking his head like a bass was amsome. And the lakes so big its like you are deep sea fishing get out there and cant c land.
