The females are the ones that are really yellow and have the very distinct red and blue markings, from what I've seen the blue goes away little to none while the red really comes out once they are around the 4-5" mark. Mine is barely touching 3" as a rough estimate. Ruck and Holo how big are those two girls?

Holo doesn't browse here much, so I'll answer for him, his female would be dead on 6"... 6" of chunky muscle with teeth and attitude to match, second photo is a bit of gill flaring with a Severum I believe, bit blurry; my bad.

, lol jk, don't you just love sals though they are just perfectly stream lined and will NOT back down to anything, period. The torpedo shaped body is just the perfect killing platform, they are amazing creatures. I cannot wait until mine gets to 5 let alone 6". She has shown good growth actually a little better than average. I've had her for maybe 3 months and she has grown a little over an inch. Also one exception in this hobby the females are much prettier than the males.
