Salvini or Angelfish or ? or None

as stated above, if breeding is your number one interest then tankmates only really cause problems. A big pair of GT's in a tank would be stunning and from what I see you have great potential in those guys.
Salvinis can be horrors and they can get on well long term but it depends on the fish and are you really willing to lose all your stock ?

Thank you so much for the advice :) I will resist the urge of changing the peaceful balance in my tank and stick with what I have. I definitely wouldn't want any of the fish getting hurt/damaged especially if I'm aware that the chances of it happening are pretty high. The pair of gold saums, I named them Jack & Hammer, are getting along really well so I'd like to see them grow and make babies :D
 
I had pictus cats and cory cats in with my silver dollars and green terrors, right now I have two cory cats, two syn featherfins, four blue gourami, and my male green terror together. With your setup, if the silver dollars aren't pushy, I'd think about a couple gold gourami for some other color in the tank. They don't get too big, and don't produce a ton of waste either and they hold there own pretty well too.
 
Beautiful Green Terrors! Nice tank I would just leave it like that!
 
An anglefish would get shredded and a salvini would be hit or miss they are plenty tuff enough to stand up to GTs but could turn the tables on them if its big enough

If you have a matted pair of GTs i wouldn't add any other cichlids

You could try a catfish or some other bottom dweller mabye a four line pictus cat, loaches or possibly bichirs ?

Interesting! I like the idea, I'll start researching for ones that would be compatible/suitable for my set up :D

The only concern that I would have though is when there will be fry swimming around, wouldn't the bottom dweller be a huge threat to them, especially at lights out(I can leave the moonlights on)?
 
I did a quick research, definitely a lot of corys to pick from and the banjo catfish look interesting as well(my favorite pick). The blue whale catfish is nice as well, but hard to find and a bit too aggressive :o

Any suggestions?
