:grinno: sorry guys the reason i asked this query was i saw a pic of dovii which is given below and got confused.

picture.php

more over this fish has changed a lot, but when i bought it, it was drab and when i googled for dovii fry at that time i got the following link where the salvini was listed as dovii fry hence the foot in mouth syndrome.:irked:

this fish is now in a grow out tank. it is the only remainig fish out of a dozen fish i bought. i have huge 5000 gal cement pond where i keep all my fishes so size is not a problem. this is the first time i,m venturing into dovii territory. thanks for the help

So you like the Dovii in the picture huh ?
A 5000g pond? Lets see a pic of that. What other fish are in there?
the salvini is in a 2' * 1' * 1'* glass tank it's a 2" juvenile
the 5000 gal brick pond is mainly a koi pond with 17 koi like koihaku, yellow leatherback{ without scales on it's back}, some butterfly koi's.
i also keep 2 midas cichlid, 1 red devil of 2.5" inch size. and six flowerhorn of varoius size from 6'' to 8.5" . i dont have any filters and change the entire water every week. it's covered by shade net. so i dont have a full pond pic. only a old pic of the sump with fish while cleaning
