anybody hows had one or knows something about them please tell me pics are great i know that thay have awsome colors but i don't know much about them how aggressive what thay eat and if one could go in a 125 with tankmates

They are highly aggressive and can usually over power larger tank mates, especially when breeding. You could set up a 125 for them, but you would have to restrict tankmates to larger fish and dithers.

i used to have a salvini in a 125uk gal,she was about 5" and lovely colours, but after a few months i sold her to a mate and his jag killed her and they was about the same size i never found her that aggressive not like my midas!

my male

max out at about 6-7 inches. Mine is not that agressive atall. he digs holes in the gravel tho. great fish

My first Salvini was killed by my female Jag (about the same size)
I have another ones now, in a big community with FM, longimanus, cons, a JD, a Choccy, and everything is fine!
The Longimanus male is top dog, and keeps everyone in line! No nipped fins, nothing!
As always it also depends on the temperament of that particular fish!

Here's mine...

They can handle themselves pretty well. I had a 5" female salvini that would take on my 10" trimac. The only fish she would back down from was my 12" Male JD.
