Samuel L Jackson VS. Morgan Freeman

I'm bored and it's slow in here. This seems like a thread Sumo might do.

I didn't want a poll so there would be more input.

Was thinking about the TV show 'The Shield' that may happen and got to wondering if Samuel Jackson will show up as Nick Fury. But I don't ever remember him really doing TV shows...just movies. I've always considered Morgan Freeman to be his mirror image.

Both do similar type movies(I do think Samuel Jackson's roles are a little more aggressive), both have been around for about the same amount of time.

So, who would be considered more successful?
 
They do both mirror each others careers. Both tend to do volumes of movies accumulating their wealth vs huge stars who get huge sums to do occasional movies.
As for as preference I enjoy Morgan Freeman more as he is a more versatile actor and doesn't scream lines like Samuel Jackson. Jackson reminds me of Pacino and Jack Nicholson always needing to scream their lines.

Morgan Freeman is a better actor, but Sam is more entertaining imo.
 
Absolutely nothing beats a Morgan Freeman narrated movie/tv show to help you nap. Not in a bad way, but his voice has a calm relaxing quality.

Pulp fiction is every bit as good as shawshank. And what about:
A time to kill
Coach carter
Changing lanes
Django
And my personal favorite... Deep Blue Sea

I actually would prefer sam to narrate my life. I'd want someone like sam, or ice cube or ice t to narrate my life. would sound pretty dope


anyways, my pick is sam Jackson. I know morgan is a decent actor but I enjoy sam more
