I actually didn't care for it either....mentioned it in jest lol...His best work,to me,was in Jackie Brown.
not that i'd watch it again but it wasn't a complete waste of time.
never seen Jackie brown but I thought he was great in pulp fiction. he was also good in the other guys (small role though)

These are all good points and I've flipped between the two but I keep coming back to S. Jackson just barely but Freeman does have one of the best narrating voices around
IMO, he's still young and needs some more work. I think he can make it one day. I'd list him as honorable mention.
Fisnbourne is around the same age as Jackson but he doesn't get as much work...probably due in part to his weight gain.He looks bigger each time I see him in something new
Freeman was born in '37, Jackson was born in '48 and Fishburne was born in '61. I did review Fishburne's work(movie) history and it is deeper then I originally thought.
don't forget BOYZ IN THE HOOD... he was great in that ... and it's an all time classic!!
