i would start all over again...tank sand/water out
wash the sand REALLY good then add it back ...add water and cycle it with pure ammonia...
i see 100% no need for the use of ANY fish for cycleing not only is it crule but goldfish carry parasites which could contaminate water anyway so whats the point?
