i use sand in my 125g with an fx5 and no problems. in fact i dont have a tank with out sand in it!

Would PFS float up a python tube during cleaning?

I run a vortech mp40 in my petrochromis tank, which pumps 3200 gph and I have sugar fine aragonite and pfs in there. Never had a problem....so I doubt you will with the 4-600 gph the fx5 pushes

def go pool sand over play, play sand is 10x more dirty andalot finer, and gets stired upVERy easy the pool sand is heavier
