sand bottom filtration

I use pool filter sand. Has never been sucked up by my filter, even if I stir it up. It's easy to clean, just hold the siphon a little bit above the sand.

Ya when I put sand in my tanks originally no one told me pool filter sand and now I have around 300 lbs of play sand in my basement lol. I'm gonna have to get some pool filter sand when I see it. I've just never seen it anywhere

Damnit my dad used the 200 pounds for my little sister now I only have 100 pounds! I think I'm gonna put play sand in my 55 I'm not sure yet what I'm gonna do eight the substrate
