look up 3m colorquartz s-grade or t-grade (some type of sand used for pool construction), s-grade is a finer and more like sand and its heavy and does not cloud water or stir up easy,comes in a variety of colors...also is very cheap for a 50 lb bag, i have 2 bags of s-grade black on the way and i spent $53.35 for it
