Wow, sad to hear of the problems. fishguy1978 , and I had done a small group buy (Sept. 2021) and the order came with no issues. Hopefully they get their act together with the people who have outstanding orders and make it right.

I ordered 6 multies from Sand City last week, and now I see his site is down. My card was charged and now I'm wondering if I need to contact my bank, I've never dealt with anything like this before.
I'd like to believe this is someone who just got in over his head and not a piece of ****, but then I'm left wondering why he seems to refuse to respond to customers.

I’ve had the same experience. I ordered from him a few times, and got great fish. I placed an order in January, and never heard anything. I’ve tried contacting him numerous times, and all have been ignored.

I also ordered 5 multis about 10 days ago. The reason I ordered from Sandy Cichlids was because of a you tube video by Zenzo TAZAWA on shell dwellers where he touted the family owned business. I am now stuck between a rock and a hard place. On a fixed income and now not able to purchase from somewhere else. If anyone has information I would appreciate it. Thanks

I would recommend canceling the order, and going through you credit card company to get a refund. That’s what I’m doing.

Not sure what's currently going on with Rick. Last I heard he was facing some major health issues and trying to scale back before it became too much. Then I heard he wasn't able to walk and was in the hospital. I havent heard anything after he was in the hospital. I hope he is ok.

Not sure where you heard that, but by going stalker mode on FB I can see that he's doing landscaping. If I didn't get my money back from the bank I would have much harsher things to say, but I figure I'll let it go.

Rick was at least 4weeks late with my order when he went ghost on me. Zero response. Crickets……
YET, he was accepting deposits on other orders that were never shipped. I’m calling bs.
If I am wrong. I pray that I am. Then I sincerely apologize to Rick. In this day and age of global instant communication……it seems….??
