depends on what type of sand you choose to use. but for the most part it is all closely the same, though you might be able to find some of the normal color that is darker or lighter colored.
yeh i bought a sand from my hardware store 5 dollars for 20kg i used 60kg in my 260 and would never choose a diff substrate over sand, went from gravel, has nowhere near the same affect.
