sand is great for certain fish!!!!
Large plecos will def stir it up big time!!!
I have a shoal of 6" rbp and thats the reason why i have a thin layer of gravel! Ive always wanted to try sand but the gravel is so easy to vaccum i cant see sand being any easier! I guess larger particle sand may be better suited.
Right now im trying to grow a carpet of micro sword and so far i have a 4-6" patch and its growing good so hopefully it will straight have a lawn effect for my substrate! I think thatd be ultimate!
