sand or no sand?

i want to put sand in a 125 for a ray. if i do, whats the best size sand to get?
moon sand or play sand size or other?

I hope that you realize a 125g isnt big enoughf for that ray for life.

i know, it's four inches in diameter, and i am in the process of build a 5000gal tank.....i know 125 is not big enough, thats why i have a 300, 240, 125.

its personal preference... i prefer bare bottom tanks... easier to keep clean and maintain more ideal params with water

Those two place doesn't have it...they only have "play sand" which is a paine to clean.

Go to pool store...swimming pool. Ask them for " pool filter sand" ...it's about $5-$7 depending where you at. It's easy to clean and look very nice.

Here is my tank with pool sand...while im doing my water change.
