Sand Problem?

Put sand in my saltwater 55gallon tank about 2 hours ago and the tank water is still white, I can see through it but its pretty damn white.... anyone know what I can do to help move the process along faster or how long it will take to settle?? Its Caribsea reef sand

Well,all you can do have patience and let it settle.Do you have your filter on? If you have turn it off

it will settle sooner or later.... just dont turn on filter cuz sand messes up filter pretty bad..

you can do a partial water change to get rid of some cloudyness

water changes and patience. did u wash the sand several times before putting it in ur tank?

i washed my sand hardcore still madew my water cloudy the next day it was clear patience buddy

I left my filter going, but rinsed out polyester padding a few times and it cleared up with in a few days
