i need a sand that has no calcium and i can get at homedepot, that doesnt stir up and is cheap,any suggestions?

Good luck...I went to both Home Depot and Lowes this week, and neither carry pool filter sand. Actually I couldnt find any sand period! I asked one of the workers there and he said they haven't carried it in a while. Maybe its just my area, but it's hard to believe since I live in Florida, the land of pools. I'd go to your local pool supply company and pick up some pool filter sand. Any pool supply store is guaranteed to have some. I paid about $23 for 100 lbs.
where are you located? if there is a meijer i got mine for $8 for a 50lb for a bag of pool filter sand.
