Sand Substrate and Murky Water?

Here is a picture of my sand tank compared to my gravel tank. The sand tank is pretty clear and you wouldn't even notice the murkieness if the other tank wasn't right there as well.

Tank look's good , ive got 2 sand & 1 gravel but i prefer the look of sand .

Does your gravel tank seem to be a bit clearer than your sand tank?
