Where does everyone get their pool filter sand? Im assuming a pool supply place right?

if you have a leslies pool supply store, you can buy it from there.. but any pool supply store has it, just ask for a bag or two. ive checked home depot and lowes before and never found any.

ive been using white play sand from home depot for a year and a half and after i got it rinsed i never had an issue with it clouding my water when i do water changes i point the hose straight at the sand and it blows a crater down to the glass bottom still not the slightest bit cloudy in my tank. $5 for 50lb and the bright white looks fantastic in my 55 with black stand and hood and 50/50 salt water bulbs in my standard t8 fixtures.

here's a video of my 125 gallon tank. I started out using play sand, but decided it was just too fine so I dumped 50 pounds of pool filter sand on top of it. They look almost identical, but the pfs is heavier and less fine and is way better. Mine is actually pfs and play sand mixed together, but when I vacuum, the play sand gets sucked up and eventually I'll have only pfs.
