Sand

Same here I chose pool filter sand. I bought it in the winter and got it on clearance for like 3$. 4 bags in my 220 72x24x30 about one inch to one and one half inch depth

Play sand is a major pain in the booty. It gets everywhere and just never seems to truly settle. I like sandblasting sand. I got mine at Home Depot, $6 for 50 pounds. It's a couple shades of brown with flecks of black and isn't completely uniform in size so it packs nicely and looks really natural.

its a felony to take sand from the beach where i am, that was my plan lol but im all set with prison

Does pool filter sand have a tannish natural look to it? I have play sand atm (I know, I know) but am switchin up my tank a little and want to get some natural looking tan sand like a lake bed or something would have. Would pool filter sand do the trick? Or is it more white like the sane I currently have? That quikrete sand looks nice, little dark, but the right direction.
