I would think so but not positive.

Goto any hardware store and see what they have, I don't know if they will have the same brand. Or you can call any pool supply store and see if they have pool filter sand which is just as cheap. Quartz or Silica (pool filter) sand is safe to use, I don't know about others.

pool filter sand is $9 per 50 lbs. you can get it from the pool supply store.

Yes quickrete sand works. Just give it a good rinse.

I would avoid any play sand, its usually really dirty and not as heavy or at least in my experience.

If your looking online it won't show up. Another one you could use is sand blasting sand.

Easy way to wash it is to throw some in a pillow case and run water through it.
