Use a pillow case n fill with sand and rinse in bathtub. Works great.
I used playsand from toys r us but will use the Home Depot one next time

silca lake sand they sell it for sandblasting , multi color beige and you have choice in sizes ,also no floating.

Play sand is crap compared to a good pool filter sand (silicia).
