Ahhh... How much can u guys argue...

I've never cycled any of my tanks soo far... Never lost a fish.. All i did... was after getting the new tank.. Fill the tank.. Add some water cond..and water which i stored a day ago and tap water... Add an air stone/air pump.. A filter... and the next day i added my fish.. No probs..

You can do that with many hardy fish but there life span is reduced due to the fact of internal organs being damaged by the ammonia ect.:eek:
 
should i worry much? its made of recylced glass and some dude says it stirs up even after 6 months...ffs,how much is pfs? they dont sell it here but if i could get someone to send me a bag

Its roughyl 10$ for a 50lb bag, on my 180 gallon - 6'x2' footprint, I only used 100 pounds/2 bags and found it was sufficient. One bag goes a long way.

For shipping wise, I think it would be rather expensive, because of the weight..

DO you live in a small town? It's sold at any pool supply centres, or anything like that. Maybe Home depot would have it? Not sure on that matter. I like in a city of 400.000 ish-ness so theres a pool store here, but not sure what you are working with.,

Worrying wise, I wouldnt. I have my bottomw dwellers (ray, cats) on it with no problem, and there are people on the forum who have been using it for longer, and swear by it.

Just be careful breathing in the dust from the dry sand.
