Yea since they are from the desert they need it to be hot and not too humid.

They need a fairly deep sand substrate too, they love burrowing. I've never kept them before, but I want to!!!

Great litle skinks.They need a tick layer of sand. The care is basic desert lizard stuff. Feed them small gutloaded crickets, mealworms, grasshopers,etc

I think they can be pretty secretive creatures... like most desert species I guess.
