Sandy almost got stevie.

Well folks i'm in bergen county NJ and Sandy just thrashed my neighborhood. We lost power at 6pm and we had no generator, my battery upc or apc computer thing was a bust as well. My Orb ray was my top priority, every 45 minutes i was stirring the tank with an egg whisk from then until now when i was finally able to get him to a friends house with power. Hope everyone fared as well as i did with their fish. Here are some pics of my hasty setup and a little damage from my yard.

I'm in bergen county also and I'm going thru the same stuff. I still have no power since 4 pm yest. My tanks are not doing too good. I called public service from my cell and they told me 4-5 days

I'm in bergen County as well. The news said an estimated 1000000 people lost power and more. Crazy storm though!

Saw the devastating pics in the news...sandy is probably the biggest storm ever to hit the US.you people be safe and pls give us the updates.

Hey all thanks for the encouragement and well wishes. The pic of the fire WAS a small toy factory by me that is now just a burnt out shell. I won't have power until November 5th according to PSE&G.
