My luck is the worst, Im currently in Atlanta training for my job and I moved all my bass to my parents house so they can take care of them while Im away, well my mom just told me the electricity has been out for over 3hrs. My gf is running around trying to find battery operated pumps, and Im stuck here feeling helpless. Anybody else get screwed by Sandy?

i was lucky wen we had the brisbane floods in australia i had a generator borrowed from a friend, other wise woulda had no power for 9 daysLuckily for me only lost power for like 7 hours but my roof on my house is destroyed this is what I would see every 5 minutes I looked outside 
I'd go out and pick the shingles up and 3 minutes later I'd here more rip of the roof and have to go get those before they blew away needless to say my whole roof has to be refinished

Yeah my fish made it fine my roof sure didn't though lol
Waiting till daylight to see how bad the roof actually is but most likely with the amount of shingles scattered around my yard and on my deck the whole roof will have to be refinished

Nothing here in Florida but I'd imagine my teacher is stuck in DC since she wAs supposed to fly out of there last night
