maybe he was abducted by the Seminole tribe, they are the only ones allowed to hunt the Glades

No, they just don't have to have a license...

The Everglades opens and closes like everything else. The Seminoles are limited to their reservation, and for a price anyone can hunt there all year. Their free roaming had the brakes put on it after the stink when Chief Billy killed that black panther.

you guys can go in there, old geezers like Chompers and Juan and Alex( Varanio ) in those strange proppeller boats hollering for Santoury...

Seriously now, what I find amazing is that someone can still get lost for real in the US wilderness...that is still a risk, I understand..or am I wrong?

I was stateside, not so long ago, when a guy got lost with his wife and baby daughter in what was described in the television as the "Oregon wilderness", and the poor guy ended up dying in search for help....something like that could hardly occur in Europe ( except perhaps in cave explorations or mountaineering situations ), so damn crowded we are...

As far as I know still a risk. Especially in the NW(Oregon) where there is lots of wilderness and of course in FL where the glades are. The show I mentioned man vs. wild is a surival show and they did a episode showing what to do/danger areas if you get lost in the everglades.

But like I said I don't think jude watched it as it was on the night of or night before he left.

Didn't know europe was that populated that it would be hard to get lost.

Again, mountains and caves and red light districts excepted, you will always find some sign of so called civilization before you tip over from exhaustion...

I would not believe that any adult, with his senses in place, could get irretrievably lost anywhere in europe ( ok, discount the russian wilderness and the scandinavian winter) to the point of dying ..

( which is a bit sad to acknowledge, for me, in any case...)
