yea they bbreak upp really fast

haha not really an issue for me, but not everybody has a pair ov vacuum cleaners scouring the bottom

true haha

Oh no sorry to hear about the bara fella , minor set back at least you've got another once they all start feeding you'll be on your way , jardinis are quite hardy fish aswell as baras so don't be tempted into massive water changes , better little and often so there's no dramatic changes , try give the jar a few silk or meal worms or even small piece of prawn for now if he's not on pellets , once he's grown and bit stronger you'll be able to try starve him onto them ( mine only eats hikari gloating sticks even at his size fussy bugger , good luck bro

That would be hikari floating sticks not gloating lol

cheers evz i will get some market prawns and and meaalworms would crickets be fiine

How big is he again ? Crickets are ok jump about like mad though so I never bothered plus they make a noise in night I remember that nightmare from my reptile days lol , don't be tempted to give loads of worms as there hard to digest mine nearly choked to death at 4" coz I got carried away , started flipping out and regurgitated loads , scared me for five mins or so , prawns are best bet then he's not getting used to live food all the time , try get the uncooked blue coloured ones they've got more nutrition

mines at 6 inches (15cm) and i got plenty of crickets for my 4 turtles haha

good progress today the jar and barra ate there first pellets today jar ate one and then stopped and the barr ate a floating and a sinking pellets but left ciclid gold pellets alone

and now they are both happily taking pellets its strange cause i put a fully qurAtined and stuffed fol of hikari flakes feeder in and the barra smashed it but the toga left it alone he even swam right in front of his mouth like 1cm away strange
