That's my main concern. If he grows enough by the time my friend wants them back I'll hang onto just him and hope for the best. But if not, my mate can take him back. Like I said, he's the cichlid guy (out of us 2 that is) and he would actually be bothered to house them properly whereas I'd simply drop him in and walk away.

we probably are lacking a bit in rtc department
it would be a massive eye-opener for him as well. Currently he's one of the biggest fish in his tank. Living with some smaller jags, 5 calico b/n, 2 L333, and a butis butis. He'd get the fright of his life coming face-to-face with 3 roomies who are much bigger than him lol
They use to drive me crazy in the nite the set up was in my bedroom , I used to get out of bed and shake the box up to make them quite while I tried to go back sleep
