  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I can do that but it's cheaper to build a light box (done) and out light fittings in (done) and get the lights(ordered)

also, unless you're going to have the tank decked out with plants, choice of light isn't all too important so long as water vapour can't make its way in

Yea not much plants just a few bits of drift wood

I've got a plant floating about in my pred tank but don't mind swapping for plastic once leds are sorted , ive got a plan in my head for the lights fingers crossed it'll work out fine and cheep enough

i reallly want to gt some water lettace

what you need is a lot of unobstructed surface area if you still plan on keeping a motoro with other large bottom feeders. I reckon if you want plants, floating is the way to go. They'll also prevent your toga from trying to bust through the lids

Also helps prevent dropeye , ive had quite a few water lettaces they all got toasted by my lights being too close to water surface though

ok so not much bottom pieces

Bottom pieces can be done with no gravel you just have to use a large plastic pot (pond ones work well black plastic) weigh it down with stones at bottom of pot , your fish mite try drag it around a bit still but at least it'll grow once roots are established it'll grow fine , the other option is to tie some off to your bogwood again once roots are established it'll be fine
