Back now Steve you'll be glad to hear I didn't get my target fish which is carp , did manage to catch few on my small float rod 3 bream , 2 tench and a little cocky roach , there's a pond about 300m from my house with allsorts in including 20lb carp

I'll be heading out tomorrow hoping to catch some squid.... if it doesn't rain
mate these carp are very very clever hooked too many times , ive had a few 10/12s out but there's at least 4 or 5 20lb + in there , ive tried about twenty baits they won't have it , not giving up ill get there
Squid fishing et sounds good Steve ive never tried that , didn't do much fishing when I was in oz lots of snorkelling though it was out of this world loved it
its awesome when the squid are around. But if not, the technique makes you look like a dope in front of everyone else lol
