nah i hadnt seen any thing pick on him except the tandanus catfish but only during feeding and that this happend in the night
 
Oh no crap news that mate sorry to hear that , ive had a few cats die for strange unexplained deaths , mostly plecs but ive had a rtcxtsn , and an albino channel cat do same thing , white slime one day dead the next , water was fine no stress seen from tankmates I just put it down to internal probs that they must have had before I got them
 
can't say I've heard of that happening. But if you tested your water and things came up fine, maybe it was just his time
 
i cant keep plecos they always die and evz thats exactly what happend to mine its strange isnt it
 
It is strange mate really pissed me off last time it happened to me it was a 10" rtcxtsn id only had it couple of months , I spoke to quite a few people who I know from lfs etc no explanation for it , common plecs are quire hardy fish its all the fancy L numbers that I have probs with ive had at least 4 royals now they don't seem to last long or grow much :-(
 
i cant keep any type but thats how it is but i got alot of awsome fish
 
Yer loads of quality fish mate I wish I had your setup at your age I was still on convicts and firemouth cichlids lol , to be honest unless I can find another bright yellow albino plec its just a cleaning tool to me on my big pred tank
 
albion pleco at my lfs they got like 50 in stock from baby size to full grown like common plecos and bristle noses and a few L number albino plecos
 
well i like fish evz its a relaxing hobbby ............ at times lol but its very nice to create your own eco system in your house its like taking a chunk out of nature and putting it in your own house
