Thats one thick fella. How much was he and at what size? Only because any Jar near me is either 12" and 200 bucks, or a few inches bigger a 250 smackers.
 
im not sure exactly how much he was,i think $80 or $90.got him 5 years ago when he was 7cm.he lives in an 8x2x2.
 
Very impressive jardini. What are you feeding him and how often? Just curious...I don't know if I am over or under feeding my jar.

i used to feed him everyday when he was smaller on heaps of bloodworms and prawns.for the last year or so i only feed him 3 to 4 times a week on prawns and just recently doesnt mind a few pellets either.all my fish get a feeder feed bout once every 2 months.the jar loves a 5'' goldfish every now and then to keep his killer instinct up to scratch.
 
NICE, how do your fish get along together? I've got an oscar and was thinking about getting one. But I read a thread saying they were suited to being alone.
What fish have you got with him? Looks like salmontail cat and tinfoil barb. Are there any more? And I to would like to know cost etc

You you mind posting a full tank shot for us ... it would be nice to see him with all his tankmates.

the tankmates are 2 14'' clown knifes,20'' ID shark,18'' TSN,14'' cigar barb,19'' giant grey gourami,6'' synodontis cat and a 12'' murray cod

Awesome monster tank! IMHO the whole look would be improved by changing the background to black...
