saratoga tank size

Hi i am getting a new saratoga in a few weeks its 7cm. Was wondering what tank it will need when its fully grown right now it will go in a 5ft×2ft×2ft thats cycled and ready. Also will be picking up a 6ft×2ft×2ft while im down picking up the fish will the 5 ft do or the 6?

Welcome to MFK I would suggest the 6x2x2 for the extra foot for the Aro.

Btw if you could possibly get a 6ft long×3ft wide ×2ft high that would even be better.

I agree with Tom, minimum 3 ft wide, other wise at maturity it will be scraping the sides to turn around, in actuality a pool of "minimum" 8ft long by 4 ft wide would be better

So the 5ft×2ft will not be good

Was just think about putting him in my 5ft×2×2 for a few tears as he is only 7cm

at that size he could be in the tank for a while but you'll definitely be looking for a slightly bigger/wider home for him at some point ...
